Inner Peace Yoga

Christine began practicing yoga in 2008 in search of something more than just an exercise routine. After experiencing health issues and personal loss, her yoga practice proved to create a path of support. She quickly became aware of the healing components that yoga has to offer.
Yoga teaches her to explore her own life’s path on many levels, mentally, physically and spiritually. Promoting balance, flexibility and strength, as well as a connection to the mind, body and the spirit and a deeper sense of "Inner Peace".
Christine completed her 200 Hour "Hatha Yoga" Teacher Training under the direction of Betsy Kase at Yoga Haven in Scarsdale, NY. She shortly thereafter furthered her training and became certified in teaching "Prenatal Yoga" and "Restorative Yoga". She offers group classes and private sessions. She has experience working with a variety of yoga practitioners from beginners to intermediate levels of various ages and health challenges. She is also a certified "Reiki Practitioner" and enjoys coupling "Reiki with Restorative Yoga" for those whom wish to explore a deeper level of energy experience while practicing gentle "Restorative Yoga".
She is dedicated to ongoing education and actively participates in yoga trainings and workshops. She views her yoga journey as a lifelong process that is continuously evolving. She is passionate about learning all she can to better assist her students with their specific needs.
Christine’s teaching approach is to create a safe and accessible path to yoga for every individual. To encourage students to create a deeper connection to their bodies, to their minds, to notice the inhales, the exhales and the pauses in between. To be present in the movement and the stillness. It her passion to inspire others to explore yoga as a way of life to help cultivate a pathway to "Inner Peace".
